Each of our Masters athletes provides an environment that focuses on fitness and helps you achieve levels you never thought you would hit past your 20s, all while working with a supportive and amazing group of similar-minded, hard-working adults. Many of our Masters discovered our wonderful sport in their 40s, 50s, and 60s, so it’s never too late to start. Join us now!

Competitive
Train in a team environment, compete with others on your team or against other clubs, and travel to races. Our Competitive program is for those who find competition brings out their best selves, or for those who like others to hold them accountable all while enhancing rowing skills and fitness.

JV/ Intermediate
Our JV/ Intermediate team is made up of club members who want to make rowing more of an intense experience with more focus on improving endurance and skill. These athletes aspire to work with our competitive team but are not yet ready to commit to racing.

Rec
Our Rec program offers rowing to anyone who has completed a learn-to-row program. Our rec rowers include recent learn-to-row graduates all the way up to those with decades of rowing experience who want to row in a more relaxed environment. This program allows our rowers to enjoy our beautiful lake and experience the joy of rowing. We focus on skill improvements and some fun & friendly inter-squad competition.

Learn-to-Row
Our learn-to-row program is for rowers who have yet to touch an oar. We’ll start with the basics and get you comfortable in a boat. Give rowing a try, and then choose the path that works for you!

If you have any questions about which program makes the most sense for you, contact Coach Drew.

COVID-19
COVID continues to play a role in our daily lives. At LHRC, we take our community’s health seriously and are constantly updating our safety policies throughout this ever-changing challenge. Our current COVID policies can always be found here.
